Springtime in the Rockies is unpredictable and interesting. Some of the visible
signs include a new season with warmer, longer days; outdoor sporting events
such as walks, races and triathlons; and, of course, the return of major league
baseball.

learn a new sport. They have chosen to participate in some fun and games

women who have stared fear in the face -- and won! Danielle Ballengee is
involved in doing what she loves, adventure racing. Dr. Carol Rymer Davis
was the first woman to win the Gordon Bennett Cup, the most prestigious
international ballooning championship. Sherry Ray joined race car driving
when she was part of a pit crew for her husband. Marion Downs, a renowned
audiologist, is the head of the Marion Downs Hearing Center Foundation. She
swims, skis, and plays tennis, but her most satisfying adventure was sky diving
on her 90th birthday!
