to the neighborhood

Denver's Belcaro neighborhood
abounds with history,
maturity and charm. The
area’s vibrancy was the driving
force that led a Denver couple to settle
here 14 years ago. In fact, they were
one of the first to take on a major remodel
within a community fiercely treasured by
the old guard of our city.
Their renovation inspired many others
in the area to follow suit. Their
home’s fabulous interior blends easy
style and smart design. The design firm
of Douglas Associates worked closely
with the homeowners to create a private and serene retreat, which is a welcome
haven for the owners’ often
hectic lives.
The owners desired a space that
would provide a safe and comfortable
refuge, an effect that is immediately
apparent upon entering. The living
room is inviting, the family room cozy,
the bedrooms relaxing, and the outdoors
are as engaging as the interiors.
Tom and Diane Peace designed the
backyard and gardens, and HMK
assembled potted plants throughout.
This Belcaro home and landscape
are greatly loved, much like the neighborhood
itself.
